Dr Adal’s Keynote Speech on Global Warming @ World Human Rights & Development Inc-2019

Dr Adal M. Hussain, (AKA Dr .Abbey ) has been an Humanitarian for over 44 years, started his humanitarian work at age 8, now 52 years old.

Dr. Abbey   8 years old, while living in England, with his family saw TV shots of the droughts, hunger and starvation in Ethiopia, and that night trying to sleep he saw these images over and over again, and spoke to his grandad about this and his grandfather asked him what are you going to do about it, Dr Abbey said, to him he must do something to help these hungry and starving kids in Ethiopia.

So his grandfather asked him do you have money to send them, Dr .Abbey told him he had saved $10.00 (Dollars), so the grandfather told him that was not enough and will not help too many kids, so he told him to get all his friends together and have them to come, to the house for a cookout, with each person donating  2 dollars, which they will get a snack and a glass of lemonade.

So I knocked on many doors and told my friends and family to come and help with this humanitarian cause, the following week we had close to 100 people attend, and my family and my grandpa, could not make enough snacks and lemonade drinks, as we had no idea of how many people would show up, some of them got snacks and lemonade, a lot of them did not but they all liked my humanitarian idea and donated their money and left.

That night I raised close to $400.00 dollars, and my grandad , told me with that kind of money you will feed hundreds of people, and I told him for how long, he went on to tell me you cannot save the whole world, if you help one person, you have accomplished your goal as an Humanitarian.

So after that , Dr. Abbey established his self as a humanitarian, organizing events, fundraisers, helping people locally internationally that needed help, working with organizations like Oxfam, Feed the World, Bob Geldof’s foundation and many more.

Humanitarians of the World Inc Thanks Giving & Christmas Homeless Presentation -2019

Humanitarians of the World Inc, (HOTWINC), did there Thanks Giving  & Christmas Homeless Presentation, here in New York , to  Homeless individuals living on the streets , sleeping on park benches, on subway trains, under card board boxes and if they are lucky they might find a  bed in a homeless shelter.

Each bag contained, tee shirt, hat,  2 pairs of socks , water bottle, toothpaste with tooth brush, other hygiene products, and healthy snacks for them to enjoy, all this was packed in a tote bag which they can use over and over again.

A lot of them were scared on being on camera, since a lot of them are from south America living on the streets with no legal status, they were scared that if ISIS finds them that they will be deported back to their countries.

We had a couple of people who were brave to share their stories with us,  on such person was Carlos, who has been living on the streets for the past seven years, he was working had one room he was sharing, he worked as a busboy in a restaurant in the city, one day his boss laid him off , and he went on to tell us he had no family or friends here to help him, the landlord told him to move, since he was not able to pay his rent, for his room.

So he left slept on a bench in a park, he had 2 plastic bags which had his clothes in and he met few other people who were also homeless , living on the street who he started being friends with, they taught him about the food pantries, shelters and how to survive  the streets.
